Appointments & Logistics
To book, modify, or cancel an appointment, please email your therapist and CC contact@shisacare.com. The phone number listed on our website is meant for general inquiries, not for making or changing an appointment.

Currently, parents may leave the premises during ABA sessions only, provided a consent form and emergency contact form are on file. Please speak with your ABA therapist for details.
Sessions are primarily conducted in English. However, we have therapists who speak Japanese and other languages. To find out what languages are available at a location near you, please email contact@shisacare.com.
How long is a typical appointment?
Speech Therapy & Breastfeeding Support: 30 minutes
Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, & Mental Health Support: 1 hour
ABA Therapy: Up to 2 hours
Where can I view my medical records?
You can access your medical records under the Files tab in Central Reach.
How do I log in to Central Reach?
You should receive an email from Central Reach to create an account. Once you create an account, you can log in. For more details, visit our Client Portal page. If you have trouble logging in, please email contact@shisacare.com.
Fees, Insurance, & Policies
How much does a session cost?

Under what circumstances might my appointment be changed or cancelled?
Appointments may be changed or cancelled if:
Your therapist has scheduled time off.
The area enters TCCOR 1 (Caution, Emergency, or Recovery).
You or your child is experiencing any of the following:
Fever (100°F / 37.8°C or higher within the past 24 hours)
Vomiting or diarrhea
Unexplained rash
Frequent or persistent cough
Green or yellow discharge from the eyes, ears, or nose
Head lice
Any diagnosed or suspected contagious illness (e.g., flu, pink eye, hand-foot-and-mouth disease, chickenpox, strep throat, bronchitis, or ringworm) — until cleared by a physician
Your attendance drops below 80%.
You consistently cancel late, or you have many “no shows.”

What is your cancellation policy?
To avoid a fee, please notify your therapist via their established communication method (usually email) and email/CC contact@shisacare.com at least 3 hours before your session.
Late cancellation (under 3 hours) for a 30-min session: $20 fee
Late cancellation (under 3 hours) for a 60-min+ session: $30 fee
Note: Some therapists have different cancellation policies. Please speak with your therapist to find out more information.
Are services covered by Japanese Insurance Plans?
No. Because our therapists are primarily licensed in the U.S., we do not accept Japanese insurance. We work with major U.S. insurance providers like:

AFSPA

What happens if my insurance does not authorize more sessions?
If a therapist deems sessions medically necessary but the insurance authorization is denied, we can transition your care to our private-pay services.
When is payment due?
Invoices are sent electronically via the Wix invoicing system. Payment is due upon receipt or by the date listed on the invoice.
Credit Card: Processed immediately.
Bank Transfers: Must be completed within 3 days of the invoice date.
